I have serious threats against me

I have a gay partner so I have a serious threat in Pakistan. I have serious threats against me. I have police reports against me. I have the phone records of someone threatening me on the phone. I have emails of people threatening me, saying they will kill me. Immigration  just say you are lying.

I have been on hunger strike, and we have been outside from 11am to 8pm. If we apply to asylum, they decide our case in 1 day. This is a serious matter of our lives. They just give a refusal tomorrow morning. They don’t look after the case properly.

I’m on the Charter flight. We have to go for Judicial Review and the European Court and a fresh claim with evidence but they don’t give us time because they just want to send us back. They gave the ticket two days after the strike started. And they are still giving tickets to the people. They gave some yesterday too. They are saying they will send us forcefully on Tuesday.

Please, we are going on strike in Dover,

Please, we are going on strike in Dover, because Immigration don’t care about people. There are so many ill people and they’re here for such a long time. It’s terrible. Tomorrow is going to be a food strike. I speak all the languages for all the people – I help them.  I help everyone coz I speak over 10 languages. And they come and say you’re not allowed to help people and they threaten me with prison. They say if you help people against immigration they can can put me in prison for two years. I’m better than any solicitor, I am the barrister and I’ve become the octopus. I’ve been hear for four months not – I’ve written people bail submissions and they’re out now. There are people here and they are so slim and every time I see them I think they’re going to die! It’s not humanity.

I suffered in this prison,

I suffered in this prison, because firstly I am a Vegan the is no for me fruits and vegetables proper Vegan meals, just brown beans with curry every day the same! Secondly I am detained here too long, over two month!
Home office refused my baeil my temporary admission, they did not care they broke Article 8 against me and me girlfriend! No one answers on my mails complaining about food, and conditions, managers say that in 14 years they have not seen fruit here, and I will not get them also, and organic Vegan food is to expensive to the company! also they say it is my life style to be a Vegan ! So nothing could be done for me! it is Awful! Home Office did not allowed “Channel_4 or BBS” to get in the prison couple days ago, and saying they are the best Welfare in the EU! this is ridiculous, people are suffering in here for nothing, to be in the prison for asking asylum and to be treated like dog in this bloody place its Awful! Me medical record is confirming the I am ill here, they are destroyed my health, I feel terrible, since I send letter to Home Office, complain about it, after two days they by me a ticket!
Tomorrow is the date to depart. However I patiently fighting for my rights for a human justice and has sent the form to Judicial Review!
I demand bring to justice those responsible those who are guilty of violence Human rights! lawbreakers against Article 3 Human rights, (no torture) Article 8 (family life)…and more you can pull out from me case, complaining letters!
Justice should be for everyone in everywhere!

We solicit a reasonable answer for this shameful situation.

Dear Sir/Madam,

We the Detainees here at Harmondsworth would clearly like to discuss the matter of the Unreasonable time of detention to enable us to comprehend the current situation because we are suffering from long process of the Home office in dealing our cases. The Home Office had not given any explanation to this unfavourable point which has played a huge negative role in both physical and Mental health state of we the Detainees.
The detention is not qualified to answer our needs and more over this detention centre is not suitable for detainees. Its very similar to a prison instead of calling it a detention centre.
The Slogan of this peaceful protest (The persecution is less than the mental abuse that influences completely the health state of each detainee here, however everyone believes we could continually overcome the situation by our peaceful protest and address the message to everybody responsible about this unfavourable position)
We solicit a reasonable answer for this shameful situation.

DETAINEES POINT OF GRIEVANCES

The following are various areas of contention that we believe the centre management and Home Office are not taking into consideration while we detainees are being held in this place.
1. We notice with keen interest that, since January, 2015 just a hand full of detainees have been released from this detention.
2. Since this same period, all Asylum cases has been refused
3. The process of certifying Asylum cases is grossly unfair and unjust. We want to know the criteria for certifying this Asylum cases.
4. Report gathered from reliable sources has it that, the Home Office staff are paid a bonus based on the number of cases treated which exposes our cases to unjust manipulations.
5. The fast track system is so unfair that our cases are not properly been looked into. The incompetence of the caseworkers keep destroying our credibility of our situations.
6. Caseworkers lie about our individual cases and find us to be suitable for deportation, which ultimately guaranties them a bonus.
7. The use of chartered flight to some countries such as Ghana, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Pakistan and other countries are so absurd and we strong request that we detainees should be given choices.
8. It is very shameful and unfair for people who have lived in this country for over 10years who have established a family life here in the United Kingdom are not allowed to take personal stuffs with them upon return back to their native countries.
9. We have informations that Home Office group of workers use proxies and gratifications to arrange High Commission Interviews for detainees which is a high criminal offence.
10. There should be a limit to how a detainee is being held. The current practice or undermined length is gross open to abuse and enactment of modern day slavery.
11. In most cases, our bank cards are being held by the Home Office. We are allowed to work for hours here at the centre and we are being paid one (1) pound per hour which is also a modern day slavery.
12. Due to the fact that our bank cards are being held by the Home Office, most essential shopping sites are blocked from the centre in order for those of who know our cards details to use our cards online.
13. The only way we detainees can entertain our selves are based on social media and entertainment sites such as Facebook, twitter, YouTube and other essential and well known media. But all this are restricted , blocked and that alone is affecting us mentally and physically as well.

14. Its very difficult to get in touch with our family members as well as our loved ones and friends.

15. The relationship between Officers and detainees are that of a slave and his master. Addressing detainees in more inhuman and undignified manner.
16. This is an immigration centre and Not a prison. We are Not CRIMINALS and we need to be treated as human beings not Animals.
17. The lock-up of twelve (12) hours per day is not dignify for immigration detainees whereby in some prisons in this country, criminals are not being locked up in such manner.
18. Most of we detainees have got serious health issues and nothing is being done concerning our release which is very contrary to the immigration, detention and Human Rights Acts.
19. It takes ages for a detainees to get a doctors appointment and when you get the appointment, you are not treated well and if you don’t take care, your appointment will be cancelled before the day.
20. There are only three types of food in this detention centre.
(I) porridge for breakfast.
(II) Fish and chips for lunch
(III) plain rice and white chicken with NO SAUCE for dinner.
This has been the only meal here in the detention centre. If you don’t want to eat then you need to provide your own meal.

21. Some of us came into this detention safe and sound but due to depression and the incompetence of the Home Office as well as the detention officers, this has put us in a devastating mood, situation and life threatening cases.
22. Most of us went to seek for asylum by our selves and we are being detained for half a year and over whiles the secretary of state representatives go home and have a nice time with their families.
23. The refusal on everyone’s documents are the same. Meaning it was copied and pasted. Just that they change names, country or origin and other personal details.
24. The health care system here is very poor as well. you go to the healthcare regardless of your sickness and you will be offered PARACETAMOL. whether you get injured or what so ever, you will be offered paracetamol. the only time you are properly checked is when you have a flight and you will be checked to see if you are fit to fly.
25. Lots of we the detainees have got valid applications pending. Applications such as Judicial Review, Discretionary leave to remain, and many other forms or leave to remain in this country that will probably take moths to process and yet still we are not released on bail or temporary admission.
26. There are more than 600 detainees here at Harmondsworth and on the C and D wing has the most population of detainees almost 350 detainees and we have just twelve (12) computers here. This computers are restricted.

(3)

27. This is now becoming alarming and we detainees are tires of being treated like animals.
28. The most important issue at hand now is that we want the Home Office and IRC Harmondsworth to look into the above points and put a stop to the inhuman treatment and psychology torture. We need our freedom.

LIFE INSIDE HARMONDSWORTH DETENTION CENTRE

Life inside the Harmondsworth Detention centre is like that of a bear. Yes BEAR!!! Just like that of a teddy bear that most kids throw anywhere in the house. You can put your bear on your bed or anywhere and indefinitely, just like we detainees are being treated here in the United Kingdom forgetting us inside the detention centres. Such as if you go for years without looking back the bear will still be there waiting for you. That is the kind of life the Home Office has put we detainees in now.

The modern day slavery I should say. Even animals have ventilations thought all their cages but why are we humans being treated like less human beings. No ventilations in the rooms and we are being paired in rooms with people from different cultures, background and more over we all inhale one breath. Why are offenders in prisons enjoying fresh air and we immigration detainees are been treated like animals. Prisoners have more liberty than we detainees do have. This is simply discrimination of race, ethnics and colours. This British in prisons know they have family and kids here to take proper care of them otherwise the government will face the wrath and problem of the public. Unlike we the immigrants in detention centres. We can be treated anyhow without anyone querying the Almighty Great Britain of her inhuman treatment, psychological and mental torture. Great Britain that proclaimed to be human right champion that could not even uphold the simple human right acts associated with asylum seekers or immigrants in the United Kingdom.

The health institutes all over the world states (most especially in the UK) that we should be careful of what we consume everyday. But the home office does not care about what the management of the detention centre feeds the detainees everyday. PORRIDGE in the Morning, FRIES in the Afternoon and RICE in the Evening. Where is the balanced diet here? This is very absurd and this matters at hand really need to be looked into.

The food they give us- even animals would not like it.

You can hear people protesting that they are treating us like animals. People have mental health-depression. They are not getting medication or good food. The food they give us- even animals would not like it. People have not been eating- they are on hunger strike. There has been a lot of racism inside. They are putting them on fast-track; they are putting them on fast-track and processing them within 24 hour. They keep sending back people to countries where they will be killed. People have kids in this country. They are not giving us human rights.

The protest is still on, we are out side

The protest is still on, we are out side. There are 150 people still out there and we have agreed not to eat until the demandsn are met. There is the possibility that they will stay outside in the courtyard tonight

We don’t have any access to social media but if you can post this it would be great.

They immigration officers now here

They immigration officers now here and they took the papers [with messages] from guys and trying to stop protest. They wrote the names of they guys who are protesting and had papers.

This place is hell; it’s like hell. I’m in hell now.

I’m Libyan. I’m here in this detention. Me and another two friends from Libya. We came to the country with the army as soldiers to train here in he UK. It’s not a real army, it’s like a Militia. It’s terrorist. I don’t want to go back with these people because they are not a real army. I don’t want to kill another Libyan.

They refuse my asylum claim. So eventually we said ok we want to back to go back to Libya.  Please this place makes you crazy. If we must die, we want to die with some dignity in our country.

But they so no we can’t send you back to Libya. the situation is too dangerous. They say no we have to wait until our situation in Libya changes.

The home office tried to make a deal and send me to Tunisia. But it’s too dangerous in Tunisia. I am Libyan.

The Libyan army is not army…it is like militia. I want to claim asylum. From the police station they bring me here to this detention…they refuse everything- the same thing happened with my friend. He claimed asylum and they refused everything. When they refuse everything we tell them- this is our country, we love our country, but the situation is too bad. They said they cant send you to your country now because the situation is too dangerous, and I asked them- “if you know that the situation is danger in my country, why you don’t accept my asylum?”. They said- “yes the situation is too dangerous, but you don’t have a personal thing…a personal risk in your life”…what do they want, a personal thing more than “my brother is killed”?! But they don’t…they don’t care.

So I told them ok, send me to my country: I don’t want asylum, I don’t want this country. I think this country before I came- the ‘great British’ is human rights, justice, or something like that, but I’m here five months and I don’t saw anything like this. This place- like North Korea or Iran or Libya; the same situation- no nothing. You don’t have the right to express. You don’t have the right to do anything.

So- two weeks ago they told me and my friend: “we want to send you to Tunisia”. And the Libyan army are waiting for you in Tunisia, and take you to Libya. I told him how I scared for the army- and to claim asylum and everyone knows in the Libyan army, especially in Tripoli- they know us and that we have claimed asylum. It’s too dangerous.

Ok, and the second thing- the next week they come to us and they say “Ok. We send you to Tunisia, but the Libyan army won’t be waiting- you go by yourself; do what you want; no solution for you”. But I think it’s not fair! How I can to my country- to the Libyan border between Libya and Tunisia; it’s too dangerous- it’s big militia, it’s big terrorism, IS, and many many militia and all the wars. All the United Nations wars that the British government; everyone; they know the situation, and everyone is scared now from Libya. Even Egypt- our neighbour- they told the Egyptian people “go from Libya!” because it’s too dangerous. Only the Libyans now in Libya- we are in the hell. Our country is destroyed; our life is destroyed; everything, but they don’t care. We want back our country but they don’t want to do this thing for us.

Now five months- I think it’s too long. We are on the fast-track. My solicitor said to me: “Fast-track is three months. If they can’t send you to your country they have to release you”, but this has not happened. And to be honest, I’m done here. I lost maybe ten kilogram my weight, and my mind isn’t focused, and very nightmare; bad thing happened to me. And, I don’t have the money to call my family. Maybe my mother called me one time in a month. And many things happened to my family, to my relatives- I don’t have a solution to call them, to know the situation. They give us only one 75 pence a day. And you have to wait maybe one week for a top-up five pounds. And the situation is not fair.

I ask everyone care about human rights and justice, because to be honest this is shame the UK. UK is defend human rights and everything all these years and in 2012 I go to claim asylum in Sweden. In Sweden, they release me on the second day. They don’t want me in this prison. And anywhere; in Germany I have relatives in Germany and everywhere- they don’t put them in this prison. Only the people who do criminal records- I don’t have anything; I’m very peaceful. They take my freedom.

I think this is the human right- but to be honest I don’t…I don’t believe anyone in this country talking about the human rights. Especially the government- they talk about human rights and war on Iraq and Libya and everywhere because of the human rights, blah-blah-blah, but this thing is only talking! No justice; no human rights, nothing. Just talking.

I want anyone to help me to get out from this place because…many people try to kill themselves. Three days- the people make hunger strike here, but no-one can do anything. If anyone can help us…help me. I don’t talk about myself but I’m in the baddest situation- the baddest thing here because I’m Libyan.

But I’m talking about the six hundred people who are with me in this detention. This thing is not fair. If this place was in another country all you would see is BBC and every media…but because it’s a place in the UK they defend…so when I say to the Home Office “This place is prison”, they say to me “No- is not prison”. Look now…and the door close on me, the small room with another man, and they close the door on me. And if I have a headache or something like that- they take two hours. This is my story. This Libyan situation is totally…and my life…everything happens to me in my country: killed, torture, prison.

This place is hell; it’s like hell. I’m in hell now.

And that’s all…thank you so much.

Fast track is not only not good for us,

Fast track is not only not good for us, its also not good for the home office or the case worker who is working on our case. I had a interview. I had my interview for 8 hours but they will refuse us the next day. Its not good for us. Its not good for the case worker as well. If they gave us more time, we could go outside and gather evidence, and pay our solicitor as well. We cant contact people who can help us with our case.
